A playground commemorates Dr R. M. Glasson who was a doctor in Wellington for many years. He died in 1954.
Dr. Robert Malcolm Glasson, one of the best known doctors in the Western Districts, died at Sunday after a long illness. He was 53. A member of a well known pastoral family, he was born at Molong, and educated at All Saints' College, Bathurst and later graduated from the Sydney University. He had been in practice in Wellington for many years and is survived by his widow and two sons, Robin and Martin. After a memorial service at St. John the Baptist Church, Wellington, on Sunday afternoon, the casket was taken to Sydney for cremation.
