The Plaque commemorates Alan Rowe`s contribution to the computerisation of the Muja Power Station.
Alan Rowe, a long-time Siemens employee, started working on the Muja control and instrumentation project when it was first mooted in 1999. The project involved replacing 25-year- old mechanical systems with state-of-the-art modern digital equipment on the four big generating units at Muja Power Station. Alan Rowe died shortly before the project was completed.
