The Alexander Ross Reserve commemorates Alexander Ross (1895 - 1983), the founder of Ross Roses who lived in Melrose Park from 1952 to 1983.

Alexander Ross Reserve

This reserve is named in memory of Alexander Ross, founder of Ross Roses.

He lived on Edward Street (Melrose Park) from 1952 until his death. 

His rose nursery occupied this site from 1952 - 65.
