Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Sir James McCuskerPrint Page

The monument commemorates philanthropist Sir James McCusker who helped Aged Care.
The Sir James McCusker Training Foundation was established in 1990 by Anglican Homes (Inc) Perth, Western Australia, through the generosity and commitment of Sir James McCusker and his family. His vision was for the Foundation`s resources to be made available to the broader aged care sector including rural communities.
To respond to the unique needs of the increasing number of people with dementia and their families the Foundation pioneered the establishment of dementia care training in Western Australia. Over the years the Foundation`s well respected reputation and expertise has extended across Australia and to the nations of the Asia Pacific region.
