Harvey Hayes Reserve
This reserve is dedicated to the memory of Harvey Francis Hayes OBE, Town Clerk of the City of Mitcham for 29 years.
1950 - 1979
Instrumental in the building and ongoing development of Mitcham.
A founder and supporter of many community organisations, in particular the Royal District Nursing Society.
He was awarded the OBE in 1980 for services to local government.
Unveiled by Mayor Caddy on behalf of the elected Members of the City.
