The monument erected by Coonamble Shire Council on John Renshaw Parkway commemorates Councillor Len Stockings who pioneered the first vehicular crossing over the Warrambungle Ranges in 1947. A plaque on the monument also details the official opening of the Parkway.

Note : - The John Renshaw Parkway is a sealed and an unsealed road in New South Wales. It goes from near Warrumbungle to Coonabarabran.
