A marble tablet, originally erected by the congregation and Sunday School of the Jung Methodist Church, commemorates Alfred Baker who was a councillor for the Shire of Wimmera for 18 years until his death. He came from Mount Gambier in South Australia when he was 17 or 18 and settled in Horsham.
The plaque was originally located in the Jung Uniting Church which was sold in 1988.

Erected As A Testimony Of Love
By The Congregation
And Sabbath school.
"Sleep on beloved ; sleep and
take thy rest ;
