The memorial was erected over the grave in memory of David Wylie M.L.A. (1856-1893) for his services in the cause of labour.
 
Melbourne, Sunday.
A handsome monument erected in the Melbourne Cemetery to the memory of the late Mr David Wylie, M.L.A., was unveiled yesterday by Mr Trenwith, M.L. A. The monument was erected in recognition of Mr Wylie's services in the cause of labour.
