In memory of John Pinney Bear

An old and hounoured colonist, for many years a Member of the Legislative Council of Victoria

One of the Trustees and a faithful supporter of this Church from the year of its dedication 1848

He was born near Kenton, County of Devon, England, in 1823.

He died at Tahbilk, Victoria in 1889.

"He was a succourer of many."

Also of Florence Emily his second daughter, and wife of Richard Roberts Esq :

Born at Melbourne 11th May 1855
Died at Secunderabad India 19th Novr. 1890
