Captain Charles Sturt, Burke, Wills, Gray & KingPrint Page
The cairn and two memorial plaques commemorate the explorers Captain Charles Sturt who discovered Cooper Creek and, Burke, Wills, Gray and King who passed through the area in 1860. The cairn was unveiled in 1944, the Sturt centenary year and is located near the ruins of the Innamincka hostel.
