The plaque commemorates W. S. Hutley who was a Master at the school from 1907 to 1909. Mr Hutley passed away in 1945.
HIGH SCHOOL NOTES.
W. F. S. Hutley Memorial.
This fund has been further advanced by a donation of £20 from Dr. A. R. Southwood. It is hoped that the older scholars will forward their donations promptly to Miss J. Hannam, High School, so that the fund may soon be finalised.
The R. W. Cole Appeal.
This sum now amounts to £66, it is hoped that the £100 will be reached. Numerous suggestions have been offered, and the amount at our disposal will determine how many of these suggestions will be effected.
