A plaque commemorates Luke Mitchell who was killed while helping a stranger who was being bashed by a gang in Brunswick in May 2009.
The chef, 29, who lived in Sanctuary Lakes died after he was stabbed in front of his sister-in-law and friends. Two men suspected of killing Luke Mitchell fled to Thailand on the day he died.

Luke was a special Sanctuary Lakes Resident who often enjoyed the peace and harmony of this view. Tragically, Luke lost his life whilst protecting another.
