Memorial tablet erected by the Katanning Rifle Club in memory of their member Frank Marshall Gare who died in 1932.
Mr Gare left South Australia in 1899 and became a member of the Katanning Stock and Trading Company where he acted as business manager until his death. He was a keen rifle shot and a member of the local operatic society. He was a devoted member of the Church of England and was a lay preacher for many years. A Justice of the Peace he frequently acted as the local magistrate.
