The brass plaque was erected by the 1st Lithgow Boy Scout Troop in memory of Campbell Galvin who died on the 8th December 1928.
The parents of Campbell Galvin presented a flag in his memory to the Lithgow Scout Group which was unveiled and dedicated in the Hoskins Memorial Church on the 27th April 1930.
