The tree commemorates Edward Little, who was the patron and benefactor of the Trundle RSL who was an early member of the Trundle 6th Light Horse Regiment. Mr. Little died in 1991.

Ted was an early member of the Trundle Troop 6th Light Horse Regt.
Mr Little also generously supported all Trundle charitable organisations.
