The death occurred last Frriday near Peterborough, of Mr. Peter Malycha, at the age of 74 years. He was born in Poland, and came to South Australia with his parents 69 years ago. Mr. Malycha first took up laud at Hill River, and then transferred his activities to Cavenagh. About 35 years ago he occupied a property three miles south of Peterborough. He was engaged in farming all his life, and was very successful, - having about 5,000 acres of land.
Recently Mr. Malycha divided most of his holdings among his sons, and he remained on the homestead. A widow, six sons, and seven daughters survive him. The family comprise, Messrs. Lawrence, Felix, Frank, Joseph, Andrew, and John Malycha (all of Peterborough), and Mesdames Keumchner (Blyth), Habib (Adelaide), Gensch (Adelaide), Wright (Taree, N.S.W.), Casey (Port Broughton), and Victory (Peterborough), and Miss Malycha.
