The T. J. Ford Pavilion commemorates Thomas John Ford for his services to the Clarence Pastoral and Agricultural Society. He was President of the Society from 1947 to 1953. Mr Ford died in 1954 at the age of 79.

This pavilion was erected in 1884 to a design by Maitland architect J. W. Pender.
Originally erected on the old Showground site, adjacent to the racecourse, it was moved to this site in in 1908 and extended in 1926
