Clewley Park

Named in recognition of William Henry Clewley (1909 - 1974). 

Born in Goombungee.  A well known farmer, gardener and motelier.

Co-partner with his wife Jean in Clewley`s Motel (formerly Bedford Private Hotel).

"Bill" Clewley rented this land from the Toowoomba City Council for 20 years for horses, cattle and dairy cows that supplied the Bedford Hotel with milk, cream and butter.
