John Orbansen (OAM) Park
This park has been named in recognition of John Orbansen's tireless community work that has included fundraising for Legacy, the local pony club activities for children and feeding the disadvantaged from his renowed cafe in Coolangatta.On 9 June 1997 he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his selfless service and commitment to the local community.
Dedicated by Cr Chris Robbins, Division 14 on 8 April 2013.
