Plaque:
This playground was named after John D. Doggett, M.B.E., J.P., as a tribute to his long and active community service as a member of Progress and Parent and Friend Associations.
He was particularly involved in the development of reserves and playground areas.
Died 9 June 1987 in his 98th year.
