Currandooley & Willeroo Soldier Settlers Print Page
The plaque details previous memorial tree plantings to commemorate local World War Two veteran settlers in the Currandooley and Willeroo areas. The plaque contains a list of some of the these soldier settlers. The trees were originally planted by the children of the settlers near where the memorial has been established.

This site was dedicated in the year 2000 by the Green family for the planting of trees to commemorate the returned servicemen who settled in the Currandooley and Willeroo area with their families after World War 2.
The following people should be recognised for their hard work, sacrifice and contribution to the community in developing this region from the late 1940s.
