Source: MA,VMR,RHSVThis tablet commemorates the pioneers of Melbourne`s Chinese community who had begun settling in this part of Little
Bourke Street by about 1854.
Many of these settlers came from the See Yap ('Four Districts') area of Guangdong province, China.
