The plaque commemorates 150 years of settlement in the Koolunga District from 1869 to 2019.

The picturesque gum tree lined street, local garage and primary school are part of what makes Koolunga, a town 20 minutes from Crystal Brook, so unique. On Sunday, July 7 the town will be stepping back in time and celebrating their proclamation which occurred in 1869. The land, originally sold into 83 blocks was settled upon in 1846 and only had a sheep station; but from there the community grew and now has just under 200 residents.
