Tambo Celebrates 150 Years
27th June 1863 to 27th June 2013

Recognising all members of the Tambo community from the very earliest days, valuing their determination to succeed in making good lives in Tambo.

Their willingness to create the fabric of community, resourcefulness and resilience while overcoming isolation and adversity by laying firm  foundations for all  generations to build on is admired.

The achievement is the vital, vibrant, prosperous town of Tambo in 2013.

Her Excellency the Governor of Queensland Ms Penelope Wensley AC
