Nundah Cemetery
(Originally German Station Cemetery)

The early settlers of many nations and their descendants are buried here.

This plaque commemorates their contribution which was a significant step in the formation of the State of Queensland.

This cemetery was established in the mid 19th century.

Its preservation and the recorded history of these early settlers are the major concerns of the Nundah Historic Cemetery Preservation Association

These gates have been donated to the people of Queensland in memory of the German missionaries, Queensland`s first free settlers by Emil W. Nasarenko of Real Estate Listing Service of Queensland

Opened by Hon. L. W. Powell, M.L.A., Minister for Education
