Dedication

Front Inscription

From 1953 Italian migrants came to Rum Jungle to seek opportunities which were offered by new mining developments.

Many of them became permanent settlers in the north.

They lived and worked to make the Top End a better place.

This plaque honors them and all Italian people who have contributed to the Northern Territory.
