The Replica Plough commemorates the pioneer settlers of Australia. The 1906 Inter-Colonial Ploughing Championship was won by Arthur Hibberd on the site. 

The Cambridge ploughing match was held yesterday, when the Governor (Sir Gerald Strickland) was present, also Messrs. Hean, Murdoch, Davies, and Fisher, M's.L.C. The weather was beautifully. fine for the occasion, and the various events attracted considerable interest. The champion class was won by A.Hibberd of Craigow, closely followed by Mahoney, of Westbury, while S. Cash, of, Cambridge, was third. Hibberd won the championship with a Lennon plough; Mahoney used a Garnett`s plough, and Sash had a Lennon plough.
