The Beagle A Cherokee Class Brig-Sloop Of Ten Guns Launched 11, May 1820, Surveyed This Coastline In Dec 1844
The Ship`s Work Continued For 50 Years For The Admiralty Until 13, May 1870 When She Was Sold.

Stokes Joined The Vessel In October 1825 As A Midshipman And Commanded It Between 16, August 1841 And 4 July 1848.
