1890 Centenary 1990
One hundred trees were planted here on October 21, 1990 to celebrate the Centenary of the State Constitution and responsible government in Western Australia.
They are living symbols of the continuing commitment of the people of Western Australia to the protection and enhancement of their political and physical environments for the century ahead.
