Marks the site of a time capsule buried by Mr. J. E. Scoble, M.B.E. (Mayor of Parkes 1966-79) and Mr. K. J. Turner
(President of Goobang Shire 1965-80) on 3rd October, 1983
To commemorate the centenary of local government in Parkes
The capsule will be opened in 2033
