This plaque commemorates the 100 year anniversary
of the Moonta Railway Station Building
1909 - Built by Gambling & Son of Adelaide
1979 - Railway Station closed
1997 - Visitor Information Centre opened
2008 - Council Office opened
The Visitor Information Centre has been staffed by Volunteers
from the National Trust SA Moonta Branch since 2002
