The Jubilee Trees & PathwayPrint Page Print this page

The trees were planted, and a commemorative plaque unveiled, in honour of Queen Elizabeth II to commemorate her Platinum Jubilee and acknowledge her 70 years of service as Australia`s Head of State.

The project received funding of $20,000 from the Queen`s Platinum Jubilee Tree Planting Program which will run from 2021-2024. The project will plant trees, install a commemorative sign and hold an event in honour of The Queen’s Jubilee. This will beautify the local environment and raise awareness of The Queen’s Jubilee.

Elizabeth II (21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022) was Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms from 6 February 1952 until her death in 2022. She was queen regnant of 32 sovereign states during her lifetime, and was head of state of 15 realms at the time of her death. Her reign of 70 years and 214 days was the longest of any British monarch and the longest verified reign of any female monarch in history.

After our Remembrance Day Service held on the 6th November 2022 we continued to the pathway to the WW2 and Vietnam Memorial. The pathway leads from the Administration block to the Memorial and it was then that we dedicated and officially opened and named the pathway.

The pathway was named "The Jubilee Trees and Pathway" to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

You will find the pathway at the William Thompson Masonic School, Balcombe Heights Estate, 92 Seven Hills Rd Baulkham Hills. Sydney.
