Diamond Jubilee Walk
The Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of Brisbane Councillor Graham Quirk hosted a tree planting ceremony on Thursday 7 June 2012, to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Representatives of all ages from across the community participated in planting 60 trees, one tree to commemorate each year of Her Majesty`s reign, creating a natural legacy to be enjoyed for generations to come.
