A White Oak tree planted in the grounds of the United States Embassy commemorates Barack Obama's visit to Australia in 2011. 

Barack Obama is the fifth United States President to visit Australia. He met with Prime Minister Gillard and addressed Parliament and was the first President to visit the Northern Territory.
