2000 Olympics & Paralympics Commemorative TabletPrint Page
The tablet commemorates the Town Hall's involvement in the Sydney Olympics in the year 2000.
In the lead up to the Sydney 2000 Games, during the Games and in their immediate aftermath, the Town Hall, as the civic and public centre of the Host City, was again and again involved in the preparations, in events such as the torch relay, and in the celebrations which followed.
