The plaque commemorates the hosting of Ireland`s T20 World Cup cricket team.

Randwick Petersham hosted Cricket Ireland prior to the 2022 ICC T20 World Cup at Coogee Oval between September 30 and October 7 2022, and the plaque was unveiled by Club Patron Alan Turner, Life Member Lyall Gardner OAM, Consul General of Ireland Rosie Keane and John Stewart Randwick Petersham CEO on Friday October 7, 2022.
