The lych gate commemorates the pioneers of St Paul`s Anglican Church.

A newly erected lych gate at St. Paul's Church of England, Milawa, is to be dedicated by the Bishop of Wangaratta (Rt. Rev. T. M. Armour) in the near future, The gate, which is a memorial to pioneers of the district, enhances the appearance of the 80-year-old red brick church. A book of remembrance will be placed in the church on the same day, and in it will be recorded the names of clergy and people who have given service to the church. Past parishioners or their descendants wishing to be associated with the lych gate fund and dedication service are invited to communicate with Mrs. Fred G. Wood, Milawa, via Wangaratta.
