The stone commemorates 50 years of worship at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

The Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Nobby building was opened in March 1941. It was constructed using timber from both the former St Luke's Lutheran Church, Mt Kent, and the St Peter's Lutheran Church, Headington Hill.
