The plaque commemorates the centenary of the dedication of St Peter`s Church.

St. Peter's Church of England will be opened by the Bishop of Newcastle this afternoon, at 3.30. A tea and public meeting will be held in the evening, tea on the tables from 6 to 7.  Addresses will be delivered by several ministers at the public meeting, and the Church choir will render selections during the evening.
