The stained glass window commemorates the pioneers of Methodism in South Australia.

A centenary memorial stained-glass window in honor of the State's pioneers will be unveiled at the Spicer Memorial Methodist Church, East Adelaide, by the Rev. Charles Perry during tomor row morning's service. The idea was sponsored by the ladies' guild. of which Mrs. Perry is president. The window was placed in position on Thursday afternoon. "The Sower" is the subject of the symbolic design, and a laurel wreath, gum leaves, and other Australian characteristics have been embodied in color. In addition to an inscription acknowledging the of church workers in the early days, the text, "One soweth and another reapeth" is displayed on the window.
