During National Reconciliation Week we unveiled new Acknowledgement of Country plaques at each of our four sites.
These plaques show that we recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the First Australians and custodians of their land and demonstrates that Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is aware of the past and ongoing connection of Aboriginal people to place and land. In a community health context, it shows our organisation’s commitment to inclusion and diversity for both clients and staff and sends a strong message to increase future Aboriginal engagement of services.Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health, 15 June 2022.
