The first Apex Club was formed in Geelong in 1931 to promote the ideal of service as the basis of all worthy enterprise.  Apex now exists in every State of Australia and in 13 nations across the globe.

Apex is a non-secretarian and non-party political and membership is open to all men and women aged 18 to 45 years.

The Apex logo, an equilateral triangle, respresents the key foundations of Apex.  Citizenship is represented by the base, fellowship and service by the sides.  The rising sun represents the rising generations of young Australians.
