The stone marks the commencement of a new lodge to replace the former Carinya Lodge for the Brindabella Ski Club in 2001. The stone was unveiled during the club`s 50th anniversary.
John Cameron, a member of Brindabella Ski Club and 17 residents of Bimbadeen lost their lives when Carinya and Bimbadeen Lodges were destroyed on the night of July 31st 1997.

John Cameron, member of the Brindabella Ski Club and 17 residents of Bimbadeen lost their lives when Carinya and Bimbadeen Lodges were destroyed in the night of July 31st 1997.
This stone was unveiled on the Club`s 50th anniversary, on 11th June 2001.
