This plaque commemorates education in Haslam 1921 to 1983.
The first school was sited in close proximity to this location in 1921.
Was shifted to an old cottage 2kms west of Palmer`s property in 1927 and finally on the edge of Cartoola Recreation Park in 1930.
Unveiled by Mrs. Nellie Dodgson (nee Symes), first school teacher. 1921, on Sunday 27th November, 1983.
