Source: MAThis Mulberry tree, a symbol of the original Mulberry tree planted in 1836 in Kingscote, Kangaroo Island, commemorates the tourism and heritage links forged in July 1992 between the local government authorities of South Australia`s two most historic settlements, Kingscote and Glenelg.
Unveiled by the Mayor of the Corporation of the City of Glenelg Mr Brian Nadilo and the Mayor of the District Council of Kingscote Mrs Janice Kelly on 28 December 1993
