An Access Arts Inc. Community Project
This plaque commemorates the opening of the
KALINGA PARK SCULPTURAL ENVIRONMENT
by the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor of Brisbane
Jim Soorley on Saturday 25 May 1996

Co-ordinating artist : Jeremy Hawkes
Sculptor : Mia Kempel
Designed and developed by the community involving participants from community groups, Access Arts members, Kelvin Grove State High School, Queensland Deaf Society Inc, Nudgee College, Kedron High Hearing Impaired Unit, New Farm Neighbourhood Centre and local residents, and supported by the Friends of Kalinga, Australian Sandstone Industries, Coates Hire and Claypave Pty Ltd.
