Actual Monument Dedication Date:Sunday 28th April, 2002
Front Inscription

To commemorate the Re-dedication of the Valley of the Liquidambars by Mr. Ben Hardman M.P. Member for Seymour on this day 28th April 2002.

This Valley was opened by the Heathcote Tourist Promotion Committee on the 19th September 1971.

Local residents planted each tree with a plaque attached as a lasting memorial for future generations

Many plaques and names have been lost to time but the trees still stand 

This plaque honours these people.
