The plaque commemorates the church parade of the Association of 4th Infantry Battalions which was held in March 1971 when the Queens and Regimental Colours of the Battalion were received from the Christ Church of England in Cootamundra, New South Wales.
Note: According to information supplied from the church by Dane Courtney, these colours were removed to the Australian War Memorial for preservation in 2009.
