A marble tablet commemorates the diamond jubilee of the Loyal James Roe Lodge in 1916.

The members of the Loyal James Roe Lodge, M.U.I.O.O.F., celebrated its diamond jubilee Tuesday in the lodge-room at the Beehive Mining Exchange.  Bro. J. R. Trengove, Noble Grand, presided. The chief business of the evening was the unveiling of a marble tablet.  Bro. J. R. Trengove, N.G., gave a history of the lodge.  Amidst applause Bro. West unveiled the tablet by pulling a string and releasing the Union Jack and Australian flag covering.
