The extensions to the Memorial Hall commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two and honours those who served in that conflict.
"Australia Remembers, 1945 - 1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.

The verandah extension to this hall was a project of the Montville community
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War II.
It honours those who served both at home and abroad to give us the freedom we now enjoy.
